Four simple steps. No syllabus to buy, no coaching to attend, no preparation material required.

Register & Pay

Fill in the student and parent details, pay the ₹100 fee by UPI and upload the payment screenshot. An Acknowledgement Number is generated instantly — save it.

Receive Your Hall Ticket

Closer to the olympiad date, the login credentials and exam link are emailed to the address used at registration, along with a short technical checklist.

Take the Olympiad

The olympiad is written online from home or school on the scheduled date. Category A runs 60 minutes, Category B runs 75 minutes. There is no negative marking.

Results & Recognition

Every participant receives a digitally verifiable certificate and a competency profile across the five skills. Toppers receive medals, scholarships and jury recognition.

Category A

Classes V – VII

  • 40 questions · 60 minutes
  • • Scenario-based multiple choice with short reasoning
  • • Online and proctored; a stable internet connection is required
  • • No negative marking

Category B

Classes VIII – X

  • 50 questions · 75 minutes
  • • Scenario-based multiple choice with short reasoning
  • • Online and proctored; a stable internet connection is required
  • • No negative marking

Preparation

There is nothing to memorise — but there is something to practise.

  • Read widely — news, explainers, opposing viewpoints
  • Ask 'who says so, and how would they know?' about any claim
  • Practise tracing a forwarded message back to its origin
  • Compare how two outlets report the same event
  • Look at a chart and ask what it leaves out
  • Use AI assistants, then check their sources actually exist
