Preparation
There is nothing to memorise — but there is something to practise.
- Read widely — news, explainers, opposing viewpoints
- Ask 'who says so, and how would they know?' about any claim
- Practise tracing a forwarded message back to its origin
- Compare how two outlets report the same event
- Look at a chart and ask what it leaves out
- Use AI assistants, then check their sources actually exist
